The Great Neck Memorial Day Parade was held on Monday, May 30. Here are some pictures of the event. A full write up will appear in next week’s paper.

The parade was dedicated to the late Howard Bauman, a longtime member of the parade committee and GN Boy Scout Troop #10 leader, who passed away last year. Bauman's wife and son attended the ceremony.

After the parade, VFW Post #372 Commander Larry Sheehan honored the soldiers who may never return during the POW/MIA ceremony, which was held at the Firemen's Benevolent Hall on Steamboat Road.
