Transfer Students

Hofstra University prides itself as a “Transfer-Friendly” university staffed with a dedicated team of specialists committed to facilitating a smooth and seamless transition. Its Transfer Center provides the resources, special attention and individualized support services transfer students not only require, but deserve.

Hofstra offers qualified transfer applicants scholarships of up to $15,000 per year, with additional opportunities for an extra $2,500 per year!

Hofstra University considers the applications of transfer candidates, with comprehensive articulation agreements with community colleges, and other college credit transfer opportunities. Even though there is no deadline for applications, students are encouraged to apply on or before March 1 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester to receive the fullest consideration.
