Since 2011, another proud European heritage of entertainment, called ‘craic’— pronounced “crack,” it means fun in Gaelic — has been celebrated in Polish Town at the Long Ireland Beer Company brewery and tasting room.
From Feb. 24 until March 5, venues all over the city will be holding craft beer events, including parties, tastings, tap takeovers, and brewing demonstrations. We’ve highlighted the must-see feature events below, organized by the New York City Brewers Guild, with a sampling of other events to whet your palette. So let’s grab a pretzel necklace and check out what’s in store!
Town officials said the proposed facility would house a 4,000 square-foot tasting room where artisan beer lovers could sample brews concocted by microbrewers that would serve as tenants. The beers would be made in the facility using on-site equipment essential to the beer-making process, like fomenters.
The club was born out of “a love for food and sharing a good time with friends."
