Obituary – Clare J. Rose

Clare J. Rose, 87, of Farmingdale passed away Nov. 30, 2009. WWII U.S. Army registered nurse (1945-1948), retired Public Health Nursing Supervisor for Nassau County and teacher of future nurses. Member of AAUW. Predeceased by her husband, Tony, and her sister, Eileen McPeak. Survived by a nephew, nieces, friends Ted and Judy Dorfmeister, extended family and friends too numerous to count. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held Dec. 4 at St. Kilian RC Church, with interment following at Calverton National Cemetery.
