The Floral Park-Bellerose School voted on Tuesday May 18, at John Lewis Childs School and Floral Park-Bellerose School. In total 2,933 votes were cast, almost double of last year. The budget passed 1,678 to 1140. The district’s transportation proposition also passed 1,593 to 1129. Sewanhaka Central High School District’s budget passed (with 1557 to 1135 votes in Floral Park-Bellerose) and 5,994 to 4,117 overall.
In the Floral Park-Bellerose School Board elections, Robert Burke was elected trustee with 2,043 votes and David Tsoupros was elected trustee with 1,739 votes.
