Congratulations to the Island Trees High School Varsity Softball team on becoming 2010 Conference II Champions. In addition, a big congratulation goes out to team members who received recognition from the Nassau County Coaches Association.
Pitcher Taylor Tedeschi and catcher Justine Abramowski, both juniors and team captains, received all-county honors, center fielder Brittany Ciaramitaro, sophomore, and third baseman Tori Tedeschi, freshman, received all-conference honors and short stop Nicole Pellegrino, sophomore, received all-division honors this year.
Coach Marino and Coach Bonsignore are very proud of their team and wish the girls the best of luck in the playoffs!
