Mercury is going backwards.
First we had the “SuperMoon” and now Mercury will begin to turn retrograde.
From March 30 to April 23, the planet Mercury will be moving backwards because the speed of the planet relative to the Earth is slowing down.
“When they say Mercury is going to go retrograde, it’s as if it’s going backwards relative to the zodiac,” said an astrology expert from Truman Trust.
Mercury turns retrograde three times a year for about a three-week period, the expert said. Mercury will go direct again, Saturday April 23.
“When Mercury is retrograde it has rulership over communication,” the expert said, which means it has an effect on behavior.
The retrograde period has an affect on: talking, calendar appointments and scheduling, he said.
One of the reasons it affects communication is because you can tell somebody one thing, and they may think you said something else. The next three weeks is not a good time to schedule important meetings, the expert said.
One of the other downsides of retrograde, he said, is computers can also break down.
As for the good: Now is a good time to review things, and do your due diligence.
“A lot of people panic when they hear Mercury retrograde because of the stigma of it,” the expert said.
Of course, not everyone may experience some if these issues due to retrograde, because it affects everyone differently.
People whose zodiac sign is Aries can be affected the most, he said.
It “depends on how you use the energy.”
