James B Costa, of Levittown, died on April 1, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Catherine M. Costa. Devoted father of Rev. Thomas C. Costa, Lorraine Brown, Mary Catherine Merle, Dorothy Mahan, Jane Lucidi, Nancy Boruch and Rev. Martin Klein who was like a son to him. Fond father-in-law of Tom, Gabriel, Kevin and Johnny. Proud and cherished grandfather of Christopher, Thomas, Michael, Andrew, Leah, Angela, Nicholas and Gregory. Retired teacher, administrator and football coach in the Levittown Public Schools. He taught in Northside and East Broadway Schools. When he retired he was an administrator at Wisdom Lane. He coached football for many years at Levittown Memorial. Active member and past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus, Delaney Council. Former trustee and founder of St. James Parish, Seaford.
Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. James RC Church, Seaford, April 5. Interment St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to LaSalle Regional Schools, Farmingdale, or St. James Church, Seaford.
