Vanessa Hudgens, who is best known for her lead role in the Disney “High School Musical” films, is officially the new spokesperson and model for the Fall 2011 ad campaign for the Candie’s collection at Kohl’s.
The photos for the campaign show the 22-year-old actress posing in a lacey purple bra and underwear, ironing clothes, vacuuming, sucking on lollipops and blowing bubbles.
“What’s up party people! I’m so excited for you to check out my new Candie’s ad today! I got to some of my favorite things for the shoot. Drink, coffee, eat cupcakes and dance around in my underwear. Loves it!” said Hudgens on her official Facebook page.
Candie’s solidified their choice using Hudgens as their new model on their official Facebook page stating, “Candie’s always has the ‘it’ girl for its national ad spokesperson. It’s worn by celebrities and is featured in television shows and motion picture films.”

“I had such a great time shooting the Candies campaign, it’s all about having fun and learning life lessons according to Candies,” said Hudgens in a behind-the-scene video from the photo shoot on Candies.com.

In 2008 Hudgens acknowledged the scandal in an interview with Seventeen Magazine stating, “Truthfully I don’t like talking about it. It was very traumatic and I am extremely upset it happened. I hope all of my fans can learn from my mistake and make smart decisions.”
