Sprint has released the latest in new communication technology in the form of a Smartphone, HTC EVO 3D. The phone will be the first American glasses-free 3D phone that will cost about 200 dollars.
The new phone promises a different type of technology that will allow consumers to view pictures in a large display with the nation’s first 4.3 inch qHD display. The phone will be equipped with a 5 megapixel camera and can be used for pictures and video that are viewable in 3D.
The phone will have some tough competition from the LG Optimus 3D which is set to be released by AT&T. The LG phone will be a little bit bigger than Sprint’s and it will even be a tad lighter.
Both offer phone enthusiasts the same 4.3 inch display screen, but the pixel resolution on Sprint’s new phone will be better than the LG phone. The devices are very similar except for the memory storage. LG’s phone will offer 8GB while Sprint will offer 1GB.
Phone companies are always trying to offer their customers the most innovative and newest type of technologies the world has to offer and at times clash. The HTC EVO 3D even has competition from another Sprint phone– their new HTC EVO View 4G was released today as well.
The phone is substantially larger than their 3D phone with a 7 inch touchscreen and offers an e-reader, media player and portable computing device all in one.
The price of the 4G phone, however, is a heftier one costing double the price of their 3D device.
