A-list actors, Ryan Reynolds and Charlize Theron are reportedly an item according to an anonymous source from US Weekly.
The source told the magazine that the famous duo began dating before the Green Lantern star’s divorce to 26-year-old Scarlett Johansson was finalized. “They have been dating for months,” said the source. “They’re exclusive and it’s very hush-hush.”
According to the report, although the couple are keeping their new relationship private by not attending red carpet events together, they’re going to make it long term saying, “They’re both career-focused, but not in a crazy way.”
Theron, who split from her boyfriend of 10 years Stuart Townsend last year, spoke about love and relationship to Piers Morgan during an interview Thursday.
“I really want for myself a long-term relationship and I have been in long term relationships. That’s the kind of union that I want. The actual ceremony is not something that is important to me, but I see the importance for other people, ” said the 35-year-old. “I treat my relationships like marriages, I really do.”
Despite reports of having a new woman in his life, Reynolds, 34, was spotted out with Johansson last weekend. According to People, the ex-partners had romantic dinner together at Little Dom’s restaurant in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
The couple publicly announced their split seven months ago but a source told the magazine, “They were leaning in closely to each other when talking. They were being flirty.”
In a June interview with Details magazine, Reynolds refused to comment on the failed relationship with Johansson saying, “I’ll say this: the media wasn’t invited to my marriage, and they’re definitely not invited into my divorce.”
Despite the interview taking place when Reynolds was allegedly dating Theron, he claimed that he wasn’t dating anyone. “I have no interested in dating right now. It seems kind of alien to me at this point. I’ve been in relationships pretty much since high school. Some people look at that as a good thing. I think wiser people might as that as a house of cards.”
According to People, Johansson has also moved on by dating fellow actor, Sean Penn for a few months this year. The couple has since split.
Reynolds can next be seen in the romantic comedy, “The Change-Up” in theaters on August 5.
