Kat Von D reportedly notified the world of the breakup on her Twitter account Monday, “I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that.”
Jesse James, 41, didn’t respond but Kat sent another Twitter message to his daughter Chandler. She tweeted, “kisses to both of you!!!” Chandler responded with a sad face and broken heart.
It was less than a year after he cheated on his wife Sandra Bullock with several women and got divorced in January, that he began dating Kat. Kat, 28, had also just broken up, with Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx.
The two later got engaged in January.
“You know sometimes the public and press gets it wrong,” Jesse once told People.com. “This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs.”
“I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description,” he continued. ” So honored that she said ‘yes.’ Growing old with her is going to be a f**kin’ blast!”
