Jamie Lynn Spears’ little girl, Maddie Briann, 3, made her performing debut this Friday in the form of a YouTube video in which she sings her aunt’s new song.
“The beat is dropped,” sings the little girl.”You’re watching me and there’s no one else around.”
Maddie is singing the lyrics to her aunt Britney’s “Up N’ Down.” The song comes from Spears’ new “Femme Fatale” album.
Britney Spears posted the video last week with the message, ” OMG! Check out my niece Maddie covering Aunt Britney’s Up N Down. Sooooo adorable! -Britney.”
In December 2007, Jamie announced that she was pregnant by her boyfriend Casey Aldridge through an interview with OK! In 2008, she announced that she was engaged to Aldridge and by June 2008, Jamie gave birth to Maddie Briann Aldridge. In March 2009, Spears and Aldridge called off their engagement and got back together the following year only to break it off for good in November 2010.
