OutKast rapper, Big Boi was arrested in Miami for possession of drugs.

According to the Associated Press, the rapper was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia on Sunday. He was booked around 1:30 p.m. on a $16,000 bond.

The rapper, whose real name is Antwan Patton was reportedly carrying ecstasy and Viagra pills.

Patton, 36, is best known for his role in OutKast, a hip hop duo from Georgia. The duo consists of Big Boi and Andre 3000, whose real name is Andre Benjamin. The duo has won six Grammy Awards and sold over 25 million copies of their eight releases.

Following their last album “Idlewild,” Big Boi released his solo debut, “Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty.” Big Boi’s second solo album, “Daddy Fat Sas: Soul Funk Crusador” and Andre 3000’s solo debut will be released later this year.

A new OutKast record is rumored to be released next year.
