Hilary Duff and hockey hubby, Mike Comrie have announced they are expecting.
Duff, 23, and the Pittsburgh Penguin, 30, celebrated their first wedding anniversary this weekend and found it was the perfect time to announce what else they’re celebrating– that Duff is pregnant.
Duff made the announcement on her official website earlier.
Duff started by posting, “This weekend, Mike and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary! In memory of the special day, we decided to post some of our favorite pictures from our wedding!”
She then went on to state, “I can’t believe it has already been a year, time really flies when you’re having fun!”
Duff added, “We also want to share the exciting news that… BABY MAKES THREE. We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives. Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years!”
Earlier this year, according to People, Duff shot down rumors of a pregnancy, tweeting, “It’s just a rumor guys! Not true. But thanks for all the good wishes! Lol.”
Last August, the couple wed in Santa Barbara, California.
The two began dating in 2007, the same year Comrie was playing for the New York Islanders. By 2010, the two announced their engagement.
