Kristin Cavallari became the latest DWTS celebrity to get the axe.
Cavallari was sent packing with her dancing partner Mark Ballas on Tuesday’s episode that included performances by singer Mary J. Blige.
Her elimination came as a surprise after the couple scored 21 points for their Monday night performance to Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love.”
“I’m a little surprised, to be honest,” she told host Tom Bergeron.
She later tweeted, “I honestly love u guys. I’ve been reading ur tweets and it means the world to me. I’m so freakin sad! But I had the best experience.”
An even bigger surprise was the fact that Chaz Bono and partner Lacey Schwimmer, who received one of the lowest scores on Monday night’s performance, 18, was saved. He thanked his fans for the support that saved him and his partner last night.
“I wish I could thank each & every one of you personally for your votes. YOU are the reason @LaceySchwimmer & I ARE DANCING AGAIN next week!!” tweeted Bono following last night’s elimination.
Tuesday night’s elimination marks the third elimination from the Fall 2011 season of “Dancing With the Stars.” Previously, Italian actress Elisabetta Canalis got the boot and before that, NBA player Metta World Peace also known as Ron Artest was sent packing.
Remaining celebrity dancers include Hope Solo, Carson Kressley, David Arquette, Nancy Grace, Ricki Lake and Rob Kardashian.
Cavallari, 24, is best known for her stint on MTV reality shows “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” and “The Hills.” She told host Jimmy Fallon of the difference between the two shows.
“Just a little bit harder,” says Cavallari. “It was much more physically demanding.”
She also told Fallon of her rumored on-again boyfriend, Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler, with whom she broke off an engagement in July. “Will you be attending his game Monday?” asked the television host.
“I don’t know,” answered Cavallari, who then said it was a possibility since she now has Monday nights free.
