Jessica Simpson has announced she is pregnant.
Today, in honor of Halloween, Simpson took to Twitter to post a photo of her “Mummy” costume and of course, announce her pregnancy.
“It’s true … I”m going to be a mummy!” She also posted a photo of her holding her belly.
Rumors had been swirling of a possible pregnancy after pictures of her sporting a rather large bump surfaced in recent weeks. Simpson never confirmed anything until now.
Earlier, a photo of her walking through an airport sporting a baby bump. She has also been seen out holding hands with fiancee Eric Johnson while rubbing her bulging belly.
The 31-year-old became engaged to Johnson last November.
She began dating the former professional football player in May 2010. He had separated from his wife Keri Johnson the previous October.
Besides singing, Simpson is notable for her fashion line and various reality shows. She once starred in “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica” alongside her ex-husband singer, Nick Lachey. She also starred in the VH1 show “The Price of Beauty” a reality show that shared varying perceptions of beauty in different cultures around the world.
She is also set to star in “Fashion Star” where she will participate as a mentor in the reality show. Simpson is a clothing, accessory and shoe designer who recently admitted plans to unveil an exclusive high-end jewelry line.
