Picture 25This week, Lady Gaga took to the X Factor UK stage to perform her new single, “Marry The Night.”

Besides an amazing new single, the singer donned an amazing new costume; she performed decapitated, holding her head in her hands.

The costume came as no surprise to her little monsters, as she hinted at it through a series of tweets earlier on.

“So excited to perform Marry The Night on X Factor UK tonight!” Gaga Tweeted before taking the stage. “Will sing my head off for England!!”

The song, “Marry The Night” comes as the fifth single from the singer’s second studio album, Born This Way.

The song was reportedly produced by Lady Gaga and Fernando Garibay and was said to have been recorded on the tour bus during The Monster Ball Tour.

She first premiered the song on the HBO Monster Ball Special on May 7 and later released it to the online game Farmville.

According to Popdash.com, Gaga revealed that she will premiere a teaser of the “Marry The Night” video on Thursday.

“Because you have all been SO supportive of MARRY THE NIGHT and all my performances, I’ve decided to release an early treat,” She tweeted. “The 17th, after my UK performance on Children In Need, I’ll tweet the opening of my new video. “MARRY THE NIGHT: THE PRELUDE PATHÉTIQUE.”

On a not so nice note, grim Gaga news came this morning when it was revealed that she would be splitting with her longtime creative director, Laurieann Gibson.

Gibson is credited for choreographing many of Gaga’s music videos and live performances.

As NY Daily News is reporting, Gaga is calling it quits with her longtime creative director Laurieann Gibson after a reported fight that may have been born from creative differences over the direction of Gaga’s “Edge of Glory” and “You & I” music videos.
