The anthem started on a plane ride home from the Super Bowl and it was repeated again during the New York Giants celebration at City Hall on Tuesday.

It’s not Beethoven’s 5th Symphony and probably won’t earn a Grammy—even though some fans remain hopeful—but the anthem dubbed, “I Got a Ring,” has become the new “We stomped you out!!” for Giants fans.

Giants running back Andre Brown was the man that came up with the quick and catchy tune, and he’s now more famous for that than anything he’s done on the football field.

So after linebacker and cancer survivor Mark Herzlich made Brown famous by posting the video on YouTube (the video now has more than 1.5 million views in three days) defensive end Justin Tuck decided to have the third-year tailback approach the podium and give fans a little taste of the call-and-response chant.

“I got a ring,” shouted Brown, as a handful of Giants players danced around him, and repeated the tune.

“We got a ring,” thundered the G-Men behind him.

And once that was over, Tuck decided to insert his own little line:

“And guess what—I got two,” the defensive captain said to the crowd, before giving his signature bow.
