A man and woman were arrested after a neighbor witnessed them climbing into a home Saturday.
According to Suffolk County Police, a Sayville resident called 911 at 1:30 p.m. to report a disturbing observation. The caller had observed a man climbing through a window into a neighbor’s home after a woman knocked on the door and got no response. Cops soon located the pair, Louis Rosario-Padilla and Kristie Segreto, of Patchogue, in the neighborhood. It turned out, after further investigation found, the pair was also allegedly responsible for multiple residential burglaries in Patchogue, dating back to 2010.
The two were arrested. Rosario-Padilla, 24, was charged with five counts of Burglary while 27-year-old Segreto, 27 was charged with three counts of Burglary. They were arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Central Islip.
