Everyone’s favorite “Twilight” father figure, Peter Facinelli is headed for splitsville.

The 38-year-old who stars on the “Twilight Saga” as Carlisle Cullen, the patriarch of the Cullen family, is set to divorce his actress wife after 11 years.

His romantic relationship with “90210” star Jennie Garth, 39, is officially over—The two have three daughters including 14-year-old Luca, 9-year-old Lola, and 5-year-old Fiona.

“While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time,” read a statement that the two released to Us Magazine.

The rumors first began swirling back in July that there was trouble in paradise and that they were even living apart.

Weird timing to announce the divorce as a reality show featuring the family is set to hit television sets next month. On April 20, ” Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country” premieres and follows the actress and her family as they move to a seven-acre farm in the countryside of Central California.

“It’s a move that will either give her the all-American lifestyle she has always dreamed of, or turn her family’s world completely upside down,” reads a CMT press release.

As we’ve previously reported, the two first met on the set of TV movie “An Unfinished Affair” in 1996, and were married in 2001.

“In this industry, there’s always going to be someone more beautiful out there. It’s easy to be tempted. I’m not interested in taking the easy way out. Divorce is not an option for us. I want to be with my family,” Garth told OK! Magazine in 2008.
