Best known as a wide receiver for the NFL’s Green Bay Packers, Donald Driver is already becoming a fan favorite on Dancing With The Stars.
Driver and his partner Peta Murgatroyd from Auckland, New Zealand excited the crowd with their energetic routine, and it’s only week one.
Peta may have been sent home first last year but this season she came to win, and doesn’t plan on going anywhere without a trophy.
The two are a spectacular pair, and it comes as no surprise that they drove the crowd crazy with their performance.
The first time Peta and Donald met the Green Bay Packer jokes, “The first time I saw Peta my son said, ‘Daddy she’s hot.’”
Driver has been a fan of the show ever since its start in 2005. “I’ve been watching the show since the first season and I can’t even believe I’m dancing on Dancing With The Stars.”
Not only will Peta and Donald be entertaining viewers with their dance performances, but the two like to joke around with each other too.While in the practice room Peta joked about the size of Donald’s legs, “They are the skinniest things I’ve ever seen, but man can he move.”
Peta and Donald have a fighting chance at winning the top prize this year and it doesn’t seem like Donald is expecting anything less, “It took me thirteen seasons to win the super bowl, but I only have one shot to win the Mirror Ball. Here we go.”
If Donald and Peta were to win the Mirror Ball trophy this year Donald would be the third NFL player to get the top prize on Dancing With The Stars, joining Hines Ward and Emmitt Smith.
