Some people think the longer your wedding gown train is, the more important you are. And Romania proved to be quite important, having a model don a record-breaking train.

Recently, a 17-year-old Romanian model Emma Dumitrescu wore a wedding gown that featured a massive 1.85-mile-long train.

The train has been certified as the longest bridal train in history by the Guinness World Records.

The model took to the air in a hot air balloon as bystanders snapped photos of the long trail flowing below.

The trail touched the ground and took over a main boulevard in Romania’s capital Bucharest that led up to a beautiful castle built by a former dictator.

It took 1o workers 100 days to create the masterpiece.

The gown was reportedly designed by Andree Salon fashion house and cost around $8,000 in materials alone.  According to MSNBC, it took 4,700 meters of taffeta, 5.5 meters of Chantilly lace, 45 meters of lining, 1,857 sewing needles and 150 spool threads to create the dress and train.

The gown’s train beat out the previous record held by the Dutch of 1.55 miles.
