He was once dubbed the greatest golfer in the world but following a very public divorce from his wife for cheating and womanizing slews of women, Woods’ golf game suffered and fans thought they had seen the last of the champion’s good golfing days.
Just this year, fans saw a shred of hope at the Arnold Palmer Invidational, when Tiger was clearly headed for a comeback win. But their hopes were up too soon and Wood’s just couldn’t pull it off.
The golfer also had fans hopeful during the start of the Masters but again proved that his comeback is yet to be seen and his performance stays mediocre among the competition.
While there are no wins for Woods yet, just one in the past two years, he did entertain fans with temper tantrum during the Masters Friday. Woods became enraged after a poor tee shot and took it out on his club.
He later apologized for the incident telling ESPN, “Certainly, I’m frustrated at times and I apologize if I offended anybody by that. But I’ve hit some bad shots and it’s certainly frustrating at times not hitting the ball where you need to hit it.”
A video of the incident went viral and has proved to be quite popular with over 300,000 views since being posted this weekend.
“kicks his club after a poor tee shot on the par 3 16th. After scrambling to make par on the par-5 15th hole, where his second shot was wayward to the right of the green and his third shot ended up in a bunker, Woods stepped to the tee at the par-3 16th,” reads the video description.
