Two Bay Shore men were arrested after they robbed a Merrick store on Saturday, police say.
Samuel Johnson, 19, and Jody Odonoghue, 21, displayed a handgun at the Radio Shack on Sunrise Highway and ordered a store employee and a customer into a back room on Saturday morning, say authorities.
The duo stole electronics and fled the store in a Ford Explorer, which they later crashed, cops say.
The two attempted to flee the scene on foot, but responding officers apprehended them shortly later, police say.
Johnson and Odonoghue werre charged with kidnapping, robbery and criminal use of a firearm.
They will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Sunday.
