New Cassel Man Robbed at Gunpoint

A 21-year-old man was walking in New Cassel when he was robbed at gunpoint, Nassau County police said.

The robber demanded the victim give him his property, so the victim gave him his wallet which had cash and personal papers, according to authorities.

After getting the wallet the subject fled the scene, police said.

The suspect was described as a black man, 19 to 20-years-old, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers, cops said.

No injuries were reported.
