Lady Gaga Fame perfume ad 490x346Lady Gaga has created her own perfume, Fame, and people are talking about the provocative advertisement for Gaga’s perfume.

The pop star known for pushing the fashion envelope, but now her complete lack of clothing in the perfume ad has made an even louder statement, if possible.

The black and white fragrance ad has Lady Gaga donning solely a black mask. The 26-year-old singer has little men climbing her body, subtly concealing her private areas. Yet Gaga remains largely exposed.

Fame, Gaga’s first fragrance, will be available at the end of August. The perfume uses a black water technology that allows the scent to become invisible once airborne.

“It is the first-ever black eau de parfum and we use language like ‘black like the soul of fame but invisible once airborne,’ which makes the fragrance an allusion to the dark side of fame, the price of fame and the narcissism of fame,” said Steve Mormoris, the senior vice president of global marketing for Coty Beauty, according to WWD.

Gaga reportedly anticipated the aroma to replicate an after-sex smell, with blood and semen. The finished product does not have traces of blood or semen, but still sparks an essence of danger.

The fragrance has hints of honey, saffron, apricot nectar hues, jasmine sambac and tiger orchid that capture the sensual and dark aromas Gaga desired.

The scent is not limited to perfume, but will become a line of soaps and lotions as well. WWD reports sales are expected to reach $100 million in its first year. Check out Gaga’s racy ad as she shows all.
