This is Hell, Agnostic Front Release New Music Videos

this is hell

this is hellLong Island-based hardcore-turned thrash metal band This is Hell have released a music video for “Acid Rain”, the first track on their latest album, Black Mass.

The video consists of footage from the band’s live shows, not to mention some footage of the band hanging out in Europe and eating sandwiches.

We shouldn’t have been surprised at how good it was when we first heard the album upon its release last October, but we were. The common transition from hardcore to thrash metal never really seems to go well – except in this case, of course.

If you’ve been holding off on giving the new This Is Hell a shot, this music video is a great opportunity for you to get blown away. The new era of American thrash metal has arrived – all rise for the Black Mass.

New York Hardcore kings Agnostic Front have also released a brand new music video for their song “Us Against The World”, which comes off the group’s latest album, My Life, My Way. The clip was directed by Samantha Astolfi and the band’s very own guitarist, Joseph James.

In the video, the band is playing in New York City, their hometown, with some clips of Occupy Wall Street protesters included.

“In these indecisive times, Us Against the World isn’t about USA vs. the rest of the world,” frontman Roger Miret said in a statement. “It’s about the powers that be vs. the everyman. We love our country, and want to shed light on the issues that plague our great nation, (and other nations around the world facing the same problems) while also commending the people with the guts to stand up and do something about it while facing adversity at every turn. Sometimes it can feel like it’s us against the world.”
