Eight Red Mango self-serve yogurt cafes are commemorating “National Hunger Action Month” by asking their customers to bring a donation of non-perishable food to support Long Island Cares, Inc.-The Harry Chapin Food Bank, and in return receive a 15% discount on the purchase of one of Red Mangos delicious frozen treats.
The food drive will run now through September 30th at Red Mango locations in Greenvale, Manhasset, Plainview, Hauppauge, Deer Park, Smithtown, Huntington and North Babylon.
Red Mango offers a large selection of self-serve, frozen yogurt flavors and numerous toppings to satisfy any palate in their colorful locations throughout Long Island. Red Mango locations participating in the food drive are encouraging their customers to bring donations of non-perishable food as a way to “treat yourself well while treating others well too.”
According to Elana Sissons, Food Drive Coordinator for Long Island Cares, Inc., “Red Mango is one of the new hot spots on Long Island that attracts many individuals and families and we’re looking forward to a very successful event and partnership.”
