Hip Pickles At Northside

Hip Pickles, a critically-acclaimed drum ensemble that has been performing in schools and libraries for over 15 years, delivered an awe-inspiring, interactive set at Northside Elementary School that captivated the imagination of students and teachers alike. With the interactive performance concept in mind, Hip Pickles invited students on stage to tap on the drums and shake to the beat of their percussions. The Hip Pickles Band came to show the children through music how important reading is to them. The children sang and talked about their favorite books while enjoying songs. The Northside PTA sponsored the assembly.
