DACLI Dog Agility Club of Long Island General Meeting
DACLI is a club whose goal is to bring more Companion Dog events—Agility, Obedience, Rally, Tracking—to Long Island. Arch Capital Group Cup Finals
The Arch Capital Group Cup originally had 261 teams competing and is down to the final two teams in each age group. For Under-12 and above, it is for travel soccer teams who are still working to rise to the level of the best teams in each league and is open to all Under-10 and Under-11 teams regardless of skill level. The Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association’s sponsor, Arch Capital Group, writes insurance and reinsurance on a worldwide basis through operations in the United States, Bermuda, Canada and Europe, with a focus on specialty lines. The cup finals will be played on Saturday, June 8 at the Peter Collins Soccer Park in Plainview.

Free Veterinary Lectures
Once a month through December, Long Island Cat Fanciers sponsors free lectures by top local veterinarians on topics relevant to dog and cat owners. All members of the public are welcome to attend. Sign Language Classes
American Sign Language (ASL) classes will be offered by Mill Neck Services for deaf adults on Mondays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Jan. 7 through March 25, 2013. The 10 sessions of the Level 1 Adult class are being held at the Day Habilitation and Interpreter Services building located at 501 S. Broadway, Suite B, Hicksville.
