A 39-year-old substitute gym teacher in the South Huntington School District has been accused of having child pornography on his computer at his West Babylon home.

Suffolk County police arrested Francesco Santodonato on charges of possession of a sexual performance of a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child.

Computer Crimes Section detectives confiscated his computer and for a forensic examination that revealed pornographic pictures and videos of children.

Police noted that they found no evidence of physical contact between Santodonato and students, but they are asking parents speak with their children about possible inappropriate contact with him.

Santodonato will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip.
