Nassau County police are asking the public’s help to find a Farmingdale man who allegedly stabbed his father Friday during a dispute at their house and stole a neighbor’s car and fled, police said.

Detective said 23-year-old Eric Georgoulakos became involved in a domestic dispute with his 53-year-old father at their Grant Street home just after 1 p.m. and allegedly used a knife to stab him in the head and torso.

The father, who was outside the house when police arrived, was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

Georgoulakos had left the house before police arrived and went to a neighbor’s home on Washington Street and asked to use the bathroom and phone, police said. Once inside, he allegedly took the keys to a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer with Pennsylvania plate number HKE2644 and fled, police said.

Detectives ask anyone to call 911 if they have information regarding Eric Georgoulakos’ whereabouts or the stolen vehicle.
