The Suffolk County SPCA is asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect who slashed the throats of four kittens in Riverhead.

The discovery was made the rear yard of a business on East Main Street in Riverhead.

It appeared that the bodies of the kittens had been thrown over the fence into the yard, according to Roy Gross, chief of the Suffolk County SPCA.

The agency is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the killing the kittens.
