The Bricks4Kidz Lego program was a big hit this summer so the recreation office is sponsoring it again as an after school program this fall. Bricks 4 Kidz teachers are trained to lead a discussion related to that day’s model, using materials designed by educators to teach concepts across a variety of subject areas. Kids will learn about everything from gears, torque and friction, to geography, space exploration, weather and more. Working with a partner, kids experience the hands-on fun of model building, from concept to completion. All models are designed by Bricks 4 Kidz model designers, so you won’t find them on the shelves of your local toy store.

This program is open to any child in grades k–3 that is a resident of the Inc. Village of Garden City. The one-hour class will run for six weeks at a cost of $120, payable by check only to Franchise Innovations for You, LLC.
