Patricia Hoban and Malachy Mahon, both of Port Washington, have been named to the Dean’s List at Providence College for the fall 2013 semester. Both are members of the class of 2017. Providence is the only college or university in the United States administered by the Dominican Friars.
Senior Phoebe Sherman of Port Washington was been named to Beloit College’s Dean’s List for the fall 2013 semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a Beloit student must carry a semester GPA of 3.4 or higher and take a minimum of three letter-graded units for the term.
Matthew Brooks of Port was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at the State University of New York at Geneseo. To be on the list, a student must have achieved a 3.5 grade point average while taking at least 12 credit hours.
