A suspect escaped Suffolk County police custody over the weekend and authorities Monday released the man’s photo in a plea for the public’s help in finding him.
Michael Greco was arrested Sunday on non-violent charges of drug possession and resisting arrest, authorities said.
The 25-year-old Shirley man was being processed at the Fourth Precinct station house on Veterans Memorial Highway in Smithtown when he escaped, police said.
Greco is described as a white man, approximately 5-feet, 7-inches tall, 110 pounds with a thin build, brown hair, brown eyes and dark facial hair.
