Students, their families, and even faculty recently enjoyed a spectacular evening at Village Elementary School’s annual Family Fun Night. There were crafts and games of all kinds, along with pizza, popcorn, cotton candy, and other yummy treats. Music by Hart to Hart Entertainment moved everyone to show off their best dance moves.
The most anticipated part of the evening was the announcement of the raffle winners. More than 100 gift baskets featuring fabulous prizes such as an overnight stay at OhekaCastle, passes to Disney World, and a Sony PlayStation 4 were raffled off at the end of the evening to the delight of many winners. Other popular prizes included amazing themed baskets generously put together by parents in each of the six grades. There was Dining & Entertainment, Arts & Crafts, and Brain Games to name just a few. But perhaps the most sought-after prize was Principal for a Day, which was won by Gianna Terranova.
A tremendous thank you goes out to the Family Fun Night committee and volunteers for all the months of hard work that went into preparing for this important night.
