“Mister” Victor William Yakkey Jr. (Billy) formally of Port Washington 26.
He passed peacefully in his sleep at the home of his youngest daughter Mary in Algood, TN.
He was a truck driver most of his life, along with being an United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by his eight daughters; Caroline, Victoria, Donna, Kathleen, Helen, Diana, Tammy and Mary. He also had two sons: Victor III (Billy) and Joseph.
He leaves behind his brother Kenneth and two half-brothers, Raymond and Wayne.
He will be missed by his Aunt Tootsie and Uncle Herbert, along with his 14 grandchildren and 10 great grand children, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was always known as grandpa to countless neighborhood kids in several states. A memorial will be held in Port Washington on June 14 hosted by his family at the VFW Post 1819 in Manhasset Isle.
