Support for our school’s annual budget clearly signals that we are a community that cares about, values, and supports its schools and education. Parents Aligned to Support Our Schools (P.A.S.S.) asks for your support of the school budget by voting YES on Tuesday May 20th.
Did you know that a YES vote will restore most elementary classes to within class size guidelines? Did you know that a YES vote will restore more moderate class sizes in most secondary school core instructional programs? Did you know that a YES vote will restore High School elective sections across core subject areas? Did you know that a YES vote will restore a 1.0 FTE social worker so that each elementary school will have one full-time social worker and the secondary school will have two? Did you know that a YES vote will restore the High School inclusion model for special education students? Did you know that a YES vote will restore 4th grade band and orchestra programs, Elementary Jazz Ensemble, and Chamber Chorus? Did you a know that a YES vote will restore an athletic director and 8 Assistant Varsity and JV coaches? Did you know that a YES vote will partially restore the elementary homework club and middle school clubs?
Through the efforts of our administration, teachers, staff and parents, our schools can continue to provide our students with academic excellence. The district has done its job, now let’s do ours. VOTE YES!
