The Hartwick College Department of Music recently visited Island Trees High School to perform and talk to all music students. The instrumental and choral groups were under the direction of Dr. Jason Leo Curley, Director of Instrumental Music and Conducting, and Dr. R. Colin Armstrong, Director of Choral Music. Performing groups included Brass Ensembles, Chamber Choir, and A Capella Choir. After the performances, the Hartwick College students introduced themselves, stated the subject they were majoring in at the college, and answered many questions the students had about college life and music opportunities at college for all students no matter what your major is.
