Field Day Is Fun Day

The end of May was celebrated at Our Lady of Victory School with fun and games. Spirit day was kicked off with the school talent show, and what talent there was. Dancers, singers, piano players, and comics-even a pogo stick jumper and singing hula-hooper entertained the school. Then it was out to the school yard to enjoy music, play some bingo and perform the choreographed school dance to “Happy.” The students wore the tie dyed t-shirts shirts they made in art class the previous week. Topping off the week was Field Day. Competition was on as “go blue team” and “go white team” was chanted throughout the day. There were scooter board races, Nukem, basketball and even a game of whiffle ball. In the end the blue team was victorious.
