A 41-year-old Brentwood man was killed when he crashed the motorcycle he was riding in Baywood on Friday afternoon.

Suffolk County police said DeJesus Figueroa was riding a Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on Pine Aire Drive when he crashed into a westbound Dodge Caravan that was making a left turn onto Cleveland Avenue shortly before 1 p.m.

Figueroa was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he died of his injuries.

The other driver, 36-year-old Tammy Quintero of Central Islip, was not injured in the crash.

Third Squad detectives impounded both vehicles, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information about this crash to call them at 631-854-8352.
