The Robert Seaman School recently held a “Meet and Greet” play date at M.A.T.S.S gym for incoming kindergartners. This memorable event was coordinated by Linda Rand and Allyson Edelman, two PTA moms with children entering kindergarten in September.
This was a great opportunity for incoming kindergarten students to meet new friends and talk with Principal Ivy Sherman, as well as many other PTA moms already in the school.
The children played name recognition games introducing themselves, played with the gym equipment and enjoyed pizza for lunch with an ice cream sundae for dessert. They made a pinwheel craft and even received favors at the end of the play date!
The children had a blast making new friends that may last for many years to come. The smiles and giggles were priceless!
