The Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County is proud to premiere the American Jewish Congress’s new exhibit based on selections from the new book, Exit Berlin. The exhibit will be on view at the Holocaust Center now through September 7, 2014. In addition to the letters between an American and her family in Europe, the exhibit will provide a historical context which will include background on U.S. immigration laws, conditions in Europe, refuge in Shanghai, and many other topics, revealing an unfamiliar side of Holocaust history.
