A pregnant 31-year-old woman and her unborn child were shot and killed outside of her North Bay Shore home on Saturday night, Suffolk County police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired and a woman being found unresponsive inside her car at the corner of Stein Drive and Belgrave Avenue at 8:40 p.m., police said.

The victim, Milagro Canjura, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside a 2011 Toyota Camry, police said.

She was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where she and her unborn baby were pronounced dead.
