Obituary: Robert Balconis

Robert Balconis, 62, of Floral Park, died on July 27. He was a fun-loving extrovert. Bob was well-read, interesting and very funny. He is survived by his mother, Theresa, his sister Christine, his uncle Rev. Joseph Kozlowski, Uncle Richard Balconis (Anastasia) and Uncle Eugene Grabowski. He was very close to his cousins and loved their company. Services were held at New Hyde Park Funeral Home. A Christian mass and burial was held at St. Hedwig’s in Floral Park, with interment at St. Johns Cemetery in Middle Village.
