The Manhasset High School “Interact Club” (Junior Rotarians), ” Neal’s on Wheels” also a MHS school club that solicits food for the needy all year long, along with the Real Estate Board of Manhasset and Port Washington have launched a Thanksgiving Food Drive for the Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN). The food drive will start Nov. 1 and end on Friday, Nov. 21.
The INN a Long Island organization has fed those in need since 1983. The INN addresses the issues of hunger & homelessness on Long Island by providing food, shelter, long term housing, and supporting services in a dignified and respectful manner for those who seek the INN’s help. The INN is a not-for-profit organization with a dedicated staff, a broad base of community support and a commitment to educate the public about these issues.
The Manhasset Public Schools, most of the local villages, the Manhasset & Port Washington Real Estate Board, the Manhasset/Lakeville Fire Department, and others will be joining the food drive. Drop-off boxes will be available at all Manhasset Public Schools, most local village offices, King Kullen Manhasset Supermarket and the local real estate offices which are as follows:

King Kullen in Manhasset will have food boxes at its store from Nov. 1 to Nov. 21.
The INN is requesting that we provide non-perishable foods such as stuffing, canned yams, cranberry sauce, canned fruit, canned vegetables (corn, peas, string beans), canned soup, canned gravy, boxed macaroni & cheese, boxed/packaged mashed potatoes. No glass items please. Thank you for helping us make sure that no one goes hungry on this Thanksgiving.
