One person was killed and another injured in a single-car crash in Wheatley Heights early Saturday morning, Suffolk County police said.

The fatal crash occurred at 4:20 a.m. on Colonial Springs Road, police said.

One passenger was treated for minor injuries at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, police said. Another person in the car refused treatment.

Second Squad detectives are investigating the crash, police said.
