Senator Jack M. Martins announced that he has secured $25,000 in state funding for technology improvements at the Mineola Library.
“By enhancing the services the library provides to residents, this new technology will benefit the entire Mineola community,” Martins said. “I am pleased to support the library’s efforts to further improve customer service.”
The library will use the funding for technological equipment and upgrades. This includes the purchase of new laptops, PCs, a server, and a printer which will improve the services the library is able to offer to the village.
“On behalf of the staff, patrons, and board of trustees of the Mineola Library, I would like to thank Senator Martins for the grant of $25,000 we received from his office,” said Mineola Library Director Charles Sleefe.
